Situation
A Class III active implantable system using ultra-thin subcutaneous implants to stimulate craniofacial nerves in resistant chronic migraine needed a late-breaking scientific abstract and poster for a major medical meeting. Therapy is patient-activated with an external wearable. Late-breaking submissions are more competitive than the standard abstract cycle and are reserved for timely work.
Approach
We refined the scientific communication strategy for the abstract, drafted and submitted the late-breaking abstract, drafted the poster, and provided conference support once it was accepted.
Outcome
The late-breaking abstract was accepted. The sponsor had an abstract and poster presentation at a major medical meeting.
